This nine-year-old singer/ songwriter proves that age has nothing to do with talent. Skylar has written over 25 of her own songs, along with creating arrangement and production ideas.

Performing for friends and family since the age of four, she has opened for the Jonas Brothers, has done multiple performances at the Giggles Theater in St. Joseph’s Hospital, and has played for the children at The Children’s Hospital in Washington D.C. Skylar is currently booked to perform a series of shows at The Bronx Zoo, Mountain Creek Ski Resort, and Orpheum Theater in Phoenix AZ, along with other notable venues.

Besides live performances, Skylar May is always trying to maintain a healthy balance of spending time with her family, working hard in school, and still taking care the business side of her music career with press interviews, the filming of her music videos, and radio interviews. Even with her busy lifestyle, she still finds time to help make difference in the world with the many charitable organizations that she works with.

Being the youngest signed artist at DreamMakers Music, Skylar May is staying busy finishing her debut album entitled “Married on the Moon” at the Barber Shop Studios. The album is being produced by the world- renowned engineer/ producer, Ron Saint Germain, and has a number of Grammy award winning musicians playing on the album. “Married on the Moon,” hailed a Rock Opera, consists of each track telling the story of a little girl fulfilling her biggest dreams, and such is the story of this young, rising star.
